The Gift of Flowers

What do the gift of flowers mean?
A friend sent me a bouquet of flowers recently and I was delighted. I love roses and these were particularly gorgeous ones. Is there an obligation that comes with flowers?

So my little troublemaker, Myste (Gray Cat), is in heat.

So....

My Dad went and borrowed a friend's male cat. Unfortunately, he seems more interested in fighting with Leo (Orange Cat), who is locked in my room.

I don't have any clue, cuz poor Myste is obviously interested, and he sits there and ignores her.

How do I help along this supposed romance before it is too late?
